Milngavie businesses have provided strong support to the Milngavie Business Improvement District with a resounding 88% Yes vote by number and 95% by rateable value, to ensure the events, projects and services will continue to be delivered. Official announcement of the results on the East Dunbartonshire website was announced on 1st February 2024 after the vote in January.
